I was born in Rochester, NY and then lived in various places throughout the U.S., eventually settling in the San Fernando valley of California. I spent much of my younger life playing baseball. I was invited to try out for the Chicago White Sox, but then along came the Korean War. After the Korean War ended, I went to college and later decided to become a tire rep for a major tire corporation. I have been married for 40 years to Suma. Suma is a Certified Registered Nurtritionist and Ayurvedic Chinese Herbologist. After the Northridge Earthquake in California, we moved to Las Vegas and currently make our home there.

After moving to Las Vegas, I started to combine my love for lighthouses and scenic art and came up with "Lighthouse Scenic Art". This is a relaxing hobby and you can keep your mind working as you create scenes.

My father was an outstanding artist and created many scenic pieces in his lifetime. I feel sometimes he comes down from Heaven and puts his magic brush on my art. One such scene can be found on the Stampscapes web site customer gallery, the light in the lighthouse tower seems to shine with a light of it's own - thanks Dad!

I love the stamping industry and the caring people I've met here.

I have worked with several stamp manufacturers to create artwork samples. There are several web sites which feature my artwork in their galleries. These are a few of them:

Julee Davis Web Site

I have also had my artwork published in several magazines:

My art was features in Marvy Uchida's ad in Paper Crafts Magazine November 2006 and in other fine magazines.

As a late bloomer, I make up part of the 1 percent male population of the stamping world. I may be 73 in years, but I am 38 in my heart and mind! Each card I make excites me!!
